About

T1 Center is known as the largest shopping center in Tallinn. When opened in 2018, the expansive 4-floor layout posed some challenges with navigation, which was sometimes confusing and not intuitive enough for guests.

We were trusted with the renewal of the center, which reimagines the layout plan that defines areas based on the needs of the visitors. The commercial space will be brought to the first two floors, while the two top floors will focus on recreation, sports and beauty, and entertainment. In addition, designing a new signage system and adding additional entrances will create a more intuitive visitor experience.

Challenges

One of the biggest challenges was working with the existing vast layout and signage, which required significant rethinking. And while it’s already tricky to refurbish an entire shopping center, we faced the additional challenge of doing the replanning, while the center was open to guests and tenants.

We’re thrilled to be a part of this ambitious project and there are many exciting updates in T1 that we can share with you in the near future.
