The ground floor is divided into six rooms, each representing a different era of space research and science, furnished with technical and visual elements that are characteristic to these time periods.
In every room, the visitors will find a central exhibit that reflects the specific period, alongside information that highlights key achievements relevant to our progress into discovering the universe.
The main attraction of the centre is a replica of the famous International Space Station.
There are also possibilities for interaction with exhibits that encourage school groups to test their skills and knowledge by completing tasks inside the center. These tasks will replicate some typical tasks and problems that someone inside the actual International Space Station might experience during their time in space.
We do love a challenge and creating this exciting concept was equally as difficult to build, as it was rewarding to see the final results in the end.
For us, there were two critical things we had to get right. First, in the History rooms, it was necessary to create unique spaces with limited resources. Secondly, the ISS is a famously complex marvel of engineering. While the replica luckily didn’t have to withstand the physics of space, it was still a very challenging build and something completely unique for us.
